This year we decided to practice our three R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to those of you not living in the eco-friendly stronghold of the NW) and decorate brown paper bags to use as wrapping paper for some of our gifts.
The girls had fun coloring, cutting and gluing. They LOVE anything crafty so the paper was flying and the glue flowing. Grandma and Grandpa Betz ended up with three-dimensional little works of art on their packages! I think we will do it next year but in a more controlled fashion. Maybe just some basic paints like a friend of mine did very successfully with her girls this year.
